YOUR FIRST VISIT

On your first visit you will receive a warm welcome to Bay Wellness Family Chiropractic. You will be asked to fill out our required forms, which help us gain more information about you, your health history, and what brings you into the office that day.

CONSULT

After the paperwork is completed, Dr. Dan Grimm will meet with you and ask more specific questions to gain a better picture of your current health. As a chiropractor, Dr. Grimm looks at the whole picture: home life, work life, activity level, and the stress that makes up our daily lives and affects ones health. If Dr. Grimm determines that chiropractic care may benefit you, he will let you know at this time. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

EXAMINATION

After a thorough consultation with Dr. Grimm, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This may include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard orthopedic, neurologic, postural, and physical examinations as Dr. Grimm sees fit. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your current state of health.

X-RAY

X-ray may be required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for x-ray is considered on a case by case basis.

At this time, Dr. Grimm will review the consult, exam and x-rays to determine the best course of action. He’ll ask that you return the next day to go over his findings.

YOUR SECOND VISIT

REPORT OF FINDINGS

Once all the information has been pulled together and the examinations have been performed, Dr. Grimm will give you a report of findings and tell you his recommendations for treatment.

TREATMENT

Many of our patients begin to see results from the very first adjustment. Dr. Grimm’s technique will vary depending upon the patient, making chiropractic effective for children, professional, athlete and senior.
